Dutch ..... Hout van de boom behorende tot het genus Gremlina. Er is geen relatie met echte beuk, genus Fagus, maar wel met teak. Dit verklaart de Australische naam van het hout, grijze teak. Het wordt gebruikt voor het maken van kabinetten, vaten en tonnen, lambriseringen, muziekinstrumenten en fineer. |
Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente a la especie Gremlina. La madera no tiene relación con la verdadera haya, del género Fagus, sino que está relacionada con la teca. Por eso en Australia se denomina teca gris. Se utiliza para ebanistería, tonelería, paneles, instrumentos musicales y chapas. |
