Dutch ..... Regionale of inheemse Latijns-Amerikaanse miniatuurkruiken die drank bevatten die bij riten in de Andes wordt gebruikt; meestal van keramiek, maar soms ook van metaal.

Spanish ..... Jarro en miniatura que se usa para servir bebidas que se ofrendan (vino, chicha o cola de mono) en los ritos andinos. Si no hay chullero de cerámica puede reemplazarse por jarritos de metal enlozado. Cada comunero debe llevar uno junto a las bebidas que presentará en las mesas. Es de función exclusivamente ceremonial. tiene la forma básicamente igual a los jarros, pero de tamaño mucho más reducido y con un asa lateral dispuesta verticalmente y adherida por un extremo al labio. La altura promedio de estas vasijas es aproximadamente de unos 11 cm. y el diámetro de la boca de unos 5 cm. Se registraron algunos en uso sirviendo como vasos para beber vino o chicha durante los descansos y las comidas en la limpia de canales, y se observaron otros 5 en tres diferentes unidades domésticas. Su forma se diferencia de las jarritas por la ausencia de pico para verter. |
