Note: A very thin, matte tissue made using traditional Japanese techniques and composed of kozo and mitsumata fibers. Originally developed by Franklin Mowery in the 1980s, the material is now produced in Berlin by the manufacturer Gangolf Ulbricht. It is used primarily as a material for the restoration or conservation of paper objects. |

Dutch ..... Zeer dun, mat tissue gemaakt met traditionele Japanse technieken en gemaakt van kozo- en mitsumatavezels. Het materiaal is oorspronkelijk in de jaren 80 van de 20ste eeuw ontwikkeld door Franklin Mowery en wordt nu in Berlijn gemaakt door de fabrikant Gangolf Ulbricht. Het wordt vooral gebruikt voor de restauratie of conservatie van papieren objecten.
