Note: Tree species of Western Australia grows up to 130 feet high with a trunk up to 9.8 feet in diameter. Growing in gray sand, clay, or sandy loam, on hills or rises.The species exhibits a rough, gray-brown, vertically grooved, fibrous bark. The leaves are often curved, 3.1–5.1 inches long and 0.59–1.18 inches wide, shiny dark green above and paler below, with a light colored border. Its flowers roughly half an inch in diameter, are white or cream to pink, and appear in clusters, blooming in spring and early summer. The fruits are ovoid, 0.35–0.63 inches long and broad.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Boomsoort uit West-Australië die tot 40 meter hoog wordt, met een stam van zo'n 3 meter breed. Deze soort groeit in grijs zand, klei of zandig leem, op heuvels of andere verhogingen, en heeft een ruwe, grijsbruine, vezelige schors met daarin verticale groeven. De bladeren zijn vaak gekromd, 7,9 tot 13 cm lang en 1,5 tot 3 cm breed, glanzend donkergroen aan de bovenkant en lichter aan de onderkant, met een lichtgekleurde rand. De bloemen zijn ongeveer 1,3 cm breed en wit of crème tot roze van kleur. Ze groeien in clusters en bloeien in de lente en de vroege zomer. De vruchten zijn ovaal van vorm, 0,89 tot 1,6 cm lang en breed.
