Dutch ..... Een zout van zwaveligzuur, gewoonlijk met een kwalificerende term die naar het basiselement verwijst, bijvoorbeeld magnesiumsulfiet, natriumsulfiet of kopersulfiet. Sulfieten zijn herkenbaar doordat ze de geur van zwaveligzuur afgeven wanneer er een sterker zuur op inwerkt. |
