Note: A coloring agent found in pyrotechnics and in many pigments. It occurs naturally in crystalline form as blue colored azurite and green hued malachite. Copper carbonate is synthesized by adding sodium carbonate to a solution of copper sulfate; the product is then filtered and dried resulting in a colored powder. |

Dutch ..... Een kleurmiddel dat wordt gebruikt in vuurwerk en in veel verschillende pigmenten. Het komt in kristallijne vorm in de natuur voor als blauwkleurig azuriet en groenkleurig malachiet. Kopercarbonaat wordt gesynthetiseerd door natriumcarbonaat toe te voegen aan een oplossing van kopersulfaat. Vervolgens wordt het product gefilterd en gedroogd, waardoor een gekleurd poeder ontstaat. |
