Note: A green pigment originally prepared by the nearly the same process as Prussian blue, but produced by omitting the hydrochloric acid step that converted the green to blue. Beginning in the mid-19th century, Prussian green sold commercially as a mixture of Prussian blue and a yellow pigment. |

Additional Notes: |

Dutch ..... Een groen pigment dat oorspronkelijk op bijna dezelfde manier werd gemaakt als Pruisisch blauw, maar dan zonder de toevoeging van zoutzuur dat de groene kleur omzet in blauw. Vanaf het midden van de 19e eeuw kwam Pruisisch groen in de handel als een mix van Pruisisch blauw en een geel pigment. |
