Note: Small deep sea worm-like mollusks lacking calcareous plates on the body but having fine slimy spicules on the covering mantle and known as narrow-footed gliders. In some classifications, this division, along with "Caudofauveata" is called a class instead of a subclass; here the two are combined under class "Aplacophora." |

Dutch ..... Kleine wormachtige weekdieren die in de diepzee leven en geen kalkhoudende platen op het lichaam hebben, maar wel dunne slijmerige uitsteeksels op de mantel. In sommige classificaties wordt deze onderklasse net als Caudofauveata een klasse genoemd. Hier worden de twee samen ondergebracht in de klasse Aplacophora. |
