Dutch ..... Zware, voorladende geweren met een groot bereik die werden ontwikkeld voor gebruik in het westen van de Verenigde Staten, globaal tussen 1800 en 1870. Meestal hadden ze geen versieringen, waren ze gemaakt van gebruineerd metaal en uitgerust met percussiesloten en dubbele trekkers. |
Spanish ..... Rifles pesados de largo alcance, cargados por la boca, usados en la frontera Oeste de los Estados Unidos, aproximadamente desde 1800 a 1870. Por lo general no tenían ornamentos, eran fabricados en metal bronceado u opaco para que no brillara con la luz, y estaban provistos de llaves de percusión y doble juego de gatillos. |
