Note: Refers to the culture, style, and period based in the Bronze Age of Vietnamese history (around the 15th or 14th century BCE) associated with the site in northern Vietnam in the Thanh Hoa Province known as Dông-Son. The period is characterized by the high production of bronze ritual objects and bronze kettledrums reflecting strong Indonesian stylistic influences and a predilection for animal motifs. Objects produced in this period also display affinity in form and style to Chinese pottery and bronze works. In architecture, the period features houses and temples with curved roofs and support structures based on a stilts system.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指越南歷史上的青銅時代(西元前十五或十四世紀前後),這個時代與北越清化省(Thanh Hoa Province)的東山遺址相關。此時代的特色是儀式用青銅物件以及青銅定音鼓的大量生產,反映出強烈的印度風格影響以及對於動物圖案的偏好。本時代生產的物件在形式上與風格上亦受到中國陶器與青銅器的影響。建築方面,此時代的特色展現於住屋與寺廟,這些建築物多有弧狀屋頂並以抬柱系統加以支撐結構。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode in de Vietnamese Bronstijd (circa 15de of 14de eeuw v. Chr.) die wordt geassocieerd met de site in noordelijk Vietnam in de provincie Thanh Hoa die bekend staat als Dông-Son. Deze periode wordt gekenmerkt door de hoge productie van bronzen rituele voorwerpen en bronzen keteltrommels die sterke Indonesische stilistische invloeden weerspiegelen en een voorkeur voor dierenmotieven. Objecten die in deze periode werden geproduceerd vertonen ook een affiniteit in vorm en stijl met Chinees aardewerk en bronswerk. In de architectuur wordt deze periode gekenmerkt door huizen en tempels met gewelfde daken en ondersteunende constructies die zijn gebaseerd op een pijlersysteem. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al período basado en la Edad de Bronce de la historia Vietnamita (alrededor del siglo XV o XIV a.C.) asociado con el sitio en Vietnam del norte en la Provincia de Thanh Hoa conocida como Dông-Son. El período se caracteriza por la alta producción de objetos rituales de bronce y timbales de bronce que reflejan una fuerte influencia estilística de Indonesia y una predilección por los motivos animales. Los objetos producidos en este período también muestran afinidad en forma y estilo con la cerámica china y obras de bronce. En arquitectura, el período ofrece casas y templos con los tejados curvos y estructuras de apoyo basadas en un sistema de pilotes.
