Note: Refers to the culture and style of artifacts found at the site of Cheng-chou, south of the Yellow River in the modern day province of Honan, dating around 1300 BCE. Royal tombs as well as ordinary cemeteries have yielded a vast quantity of artifacts, most notably gray pottery and bronze objects belonging to the first phase of Shang culture.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van kunstvoorwerpen uit circa 1300 v. Chr. die zijn aangetroffen bij Cheng-chou, ten zuiden van de Gele Rivier in de huidige provincie Honan. Bij koninklijke tombes en reguliere begraafplaatsen zijn grote hoeveelheden kunstvoorwerpen gevonden, met name grijs aardewerk en bronzen objecten uit de eerste fase van de Shang-cultuur. |
