Note: Refers to the period and culture marking the Trân dynasty (1225-1400 CE) characterized by a strong resurgence of Buddhist-inspired art and political stability. In sculpture, the period reflects a combination of Chinese styles, as reflected in the use of the lotus base and drapery, and of Cham styles, as reflected in the dominance of symmetry and slender, rhythmic constructions and in facial features such as large eyes, high nose, and thick lips. Naturalistic stone figures of animals on tomb sites are prevalent during this period as evidenced by the tomb of King Tran Hien Tong (1329-1341 CE) featuring a reclining water buffalo and dog. Architecture of this period imitates the forms used during the Ly dynasty, featuring brick and stone construction, lower external walls adorned with bas-relief carvings of flowers, leaves, waves, clouds, higher external walls that depicted dragon images, sanctuaries, doors of iron-wood, and incense-burning halls.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 用指陳朝（西元1225年至1440年）的時代，此時代的特色是穩定的政治與且再次興起的佛教藝術。在雕刻方面，此時代的風格反映了中國風格與佔婆族風格的融合，前者反映於對蓮花基座與布料的運用上，後者則可見於作品對稱、纖細且有韻律的結構以及臉部特徵，如：大眼睛、高挺的鼻子與厚嘴脣等。自然主義風格的動物石雕在本時代的墳墓遺址上也相當常見，例如，國王陳憲忠（King Tran Hien Tong，西元1329年至1341年）的墳墓即是一例。這座墳墓的特色為斜倚的水牛與狗。本時代的建築模仿了李朝的形式，其中又以磚造與石造結構、飾以花朵、葉子、波浪、雲朵等淺浮雕圖案的低矮外牆，以及描繪有龍的高大外牆、聖殿、木麻黃木製作的門，以及焚香的大廳等最具特色。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode die de Trân-dynastie markeert (1225-1400 CE) en die wordt gekenmerkt door een sterke heropleving van boeddhistisch geïnspireerde kunst en politieke stabiliteit. In de beeldhouwkunst laat deze periode een combinatie zien van Chinese stijlen, zoals weerspiegeld in het gebruik van het lotusvoetstuk en draperieën, en van Cham-stijlen, zoals weerspiegeld in de overheersing van symmetrie en ranke, ritmische constructies, en in gelaatstrekken zoals grote ogen, een hoge neus en dikke lippen. Naturalistische stenen figuren van dieren op graflocaties komen veel voor in deze periode. Een voorbeeld is de graftombe van koning Tran Hien Tong (1329-1341 n. Chr.) met een rustende waterbuffel en een hond. De architectuur van deze periode imiteert de vormen die werden gebruikt tijdens de Ly-dynastie en wordt gekenmerkt door (bak)stenen constructies, lage buitenmuren die zijn versierd met beeldsnijwerken in bas-reliëf van bloemen, bladeren, golven en wolken, hogere buitenmuren met afbeeldingen van draken, heiligdommen, deuren van ijzerhout en zalen waarin wierrook wordt gebrand. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al período que señala la dinastía Trân (1225-1400 d.C.) caracterizado por un fuerte resurgimiento del arte inspirado en el budismo y la estabilidad política. En escultura, el período refleja una combinación de estilos chinos, reflejados en el uso de la base de loto y pañería y de estilos Cham, reflejados en el dominio de la simetría y las construcciones delgadas, rítmicas y en los rasgos faciales como ojos grandes, nariz alta y labios gruesos. Las figuras de piedra naturalistas de animales en las tumbas prevalecen durante este período como queda en evidencia en la tumba del Rey Tran Hien Tong (1329-1341 DC) que presenta un búfalo de agua y un perro inclinados. La arquitectura de este período imita las formas usadas durante la dinastía Ly ofreciendo edificaciones en ladrillo y piedra y murallas externas bajas adornadas con tallados de bajorrelieves de flores, hojas, olas, nubes, murallas externas más altas con imágenes de dragones, santuarios, puertas de hierro-madera y vestíbulos para quemar incienso. |
