Note: Refers to the Greek style of sculpture produced by Praxiteles during the 4th century BCE. Identified with female figures, especially the Aphrodite of Cnidos, it is characterized by more slender proportions, sinuous curves, and smooth modeling producing shadows that cast a soft haze over the planes of the figure.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱由普拉克西特利（Praxiteles）於西元前四世紀所創作出來的希臘雕塑風格。女性人像被視為此種風格的代表性作品，特別是西尼多斯（Cnidos）的愛芙羅黛蒂女神（Aphrodite），而此種風格之特徵為更加纖細的比例、彎曲有致的弧型線條，以及平順流暢的造型所創造出的陰影，投射在人像的平面上而形成一層柔和的薄霧。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de Griekse stijl van de beeldhouwkunst die werd gemaakt door Praxiteles tijdens de 4de eeuw v. Chr. De stijl is vooral bekend door vrouwelijke beelden, met name de Afrodite van Knidos, en kenmerkt zich door de slanke verhoudingen, de golvende vormen en het vloeiend modelleren waardoor schaduwen een zachte waas werpen over de vlakken van de beelden. |
