Note: Refers to the culture, style, and period associated with the reign of emperor Cheng-te, 1506-1521. The style is characterized by blue and white wares with Arabic or Persian inscriptions, a result of the Muslim-influenced government. They are typically marked with a six-character mark in underglaze blue, with others bearing only a four-character mark. These wares ceased to be made after Cheng-te's death, with similar pieces of lesser quality made during succeeding reigns.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指西元1506年至西元1521年，正德皇帝在位其間發展的瓷器風格。由於受到回教傳入的影響，此時期的特色在於瓷器上刻有阿拉伯文或波斯文。器身通常有六字年款的標記，有些則是四個字。這類的瓷器在正德皇帝死後即不再生產，後朝雖有類似作品，但在品質上不及此時期。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van porselein die werd ontwikkeld gedurende de heerschappij van keizer Cheng-te, 1506-1521. De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door blauw-wit glazuurwerk met Arabische of Perzische inscripties, een resultaat van de islamitische invloeden in het staatsbestuur. Kenmerkend voor objecten in deze stijl is een markering met zes karakters in blauw onderglazuur, in plaats van vier karakters zoals bij andere objecten. Dit porselein werd niet meer gemaakt na de dood van Cheng-te, maar soortgelijk werk van mindere kwaliteit werd wel nog vervaardigd ten tijde van zijn opvolgers. |
