Note: A rare silvery-white hard ductile metallic element of the transition series, atomic number 45; Symbol Rh. Rhodium is resistant to acids, and may occur naturally in pure form, but is normally obtained from nickel ores. It is used especially as a catalyst and in platinum alloys. |
