Dutch ..... Wijde lange cape die werd gedragen door een prelaat, de geestelijke met een eigen rechtsgebied: kardinaal (in het rood), (aarts)bisschop (in het paars), abt, prior. De mantel bedekte vrijwel alleen de rug, had een rechthoekige kraag en werd bij de hals gesloten met twee linten. Bij de prelatenmantel werd de prelatenhoed gedragen. |
