Dutch ..... Melanteriet is gehydrateerd ijzersulfaat dat ontstaat na desintegratie van pyriet of andere ijzermaterialen door de werking van oppervlaktewater in mijnen. Het treedt op als doffe, doorschijnende groene kristallen op de wanden van mijnen. Vroeger werd er melanteria van gemaakt, een inktachtig pigment. |
