Note: Variety of fossil resin, brown in color, having a high oxygen content. It is found in deposits in the Baltic and is characterized by being dense and polishing poorly. It had previously been classified as being mineralogically distinct from common Baltic succinite on the basis of physical properties such as density and chemical properties such as saponification number, although more recent testing has found this to be untrue.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱各式各樣具有高含氧量的褐色化石樹脂。此種樹脂產自波羅的海沉積礦床，其特徵為質地厚重稠密且拋光度不佳。基於物理性質，如密度與諸如皂化質等化學性質的不同，此種樹脂歷來在礦物學上的分類歸屬與常見的波羅的海琥珀不同，但許多近來的測試已經發現此種分類並不確實。 |
| Dutch ..... Variant van een bruin fossiel hars met een hoog zuurstofgehalte. Het wordt aangetroffen in afzettingen in het Oostzeegebied en wordt gekenmerkt door de hoge dichtheid en het feit dat het slecht glanst. Voorheen werd het beschouwd als mineralogisch te onderscheiden van normaal Baltisch succiniet, op basis van fysische eigenschappen als dichtheid en chemische eigenschappen als het verzepingsgetal. Recent onderzoek heeft echter aangetoond dat dit niet klopt. |
