Dutch ..... Blazoenen of tunieken van rijk materiaal met afbeeldingen van heraldische wapens die in de middeleeuwen door mannen werden gedragen. Tegenwoordig staan ze bekend als mouwloze kledingstukken van karmozijnrood fluweel die in combinatie met een mantel worden gedragen. De term is enigszins dubbelzinnig en kan ook slaan op overkleding die door hooggeplaatste personen van beide seksen kan worden gedragen. |
