Note: Refers to the style of marble, folded-arm type figurines produced in the Cycladic archipelago during the Early Cycladic period. Named for the site of discovery in a cemetery on Amorgos, they are characterized by slender yet naturalistic proportions and rounded forms found especially in the shape of the head. |

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een soort marmeren beeldjes met gekruiste armen uit de vroeg-Cycladische periode in de Cycladische archipel. Ze zijn genoemd naar de vindplaats op een begraafplaats op Amorgos, en worden gekenmerkt door de slanke maar naturalistische proporties en ronde vormen, voornamelijk te zien in de vorm van het hoofd. |
Spanish ..... Se refiere a un estilo de figuras de mármol, tipo brazo cruzado producidas en el archipiélago de las Cíclades durante el período Cicládico Temprano. Denominado por el sitio del descubrimiento en un cementerio en Amorgos, se caracterizan por proporciones estilizadas todavía naturalistas y formas redondeadas encontradas sobre todo en la forma de la cabeza. |
