Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor houders bedoeld om melk te bevatten en te serveren, vooral voor middelgrote kannen met een handvat en een tuit of schenkopening, soms ook voorzien van een deksel; gewoonlijk gemaakt als onderdeel van een theeservies; oorspronkelijk uit het begin van de 18de eeuw. Gebruik ‘roomkannen’ voor houders, meestal kleine kannen, voor het bewaren en serveren van room. |

Gefäß, das zum Vorhalten und Servieren von Milch gestaltet wurde, insbesondere ein mittelgroßer Krug mit einem Henkel und einer Tülle oder Lippe sowie manchmal mit einem Deckel; gewöhnlich als Teil eines Teeservices hergestellt; ursprünglich aus dem frühen 18. Jahrhundert stammend. Für Behältnisse zum Vorhalten und Servieren von Sahne, insbesondere für kleine Krüge, siehe ["Sahnekännchen"](300220996). |
Spanish ..... Úsese para vasijas diseñadas para contener y servir leche, especialmente para jarros de tamaño mediano con un asa y un pico o labio y algunas veces una tapa, generalmente formando parte de un servicio de té; datan de comienzos del siglo XVIII. Para recipientes para contener y servir crema, especialmente pequeños jarros, use "cremera". |
