Note: Refers to the style of marble figures produced in the Cycladic archipelago during the Early Cycladic period but specifically during the period between roughly 3500 or 3000 and 2800 or 2600 BCE. Named for the site of their discovery on the island of Paros, the figures include representations of both male and female figures. They are characterized by a sense of naturalism represented in their almond-shaped heads, facial features depicted in low relief, arms bent at the elbows, hands meeting at the chest, legs placed apart, and flat-soled feet.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van marmeren figuren die in de Cycladische archipel werden vervaardigd tijdens de vroeg-Cycladische periode tussen grofweg 3.500 à 3.000 en 2.800 à 2.600 v. Chr. Genoemd naar de archeologische vindplaats op het eiland Paros. De beeldjes bestaan uit zowel mannelijke als vrouwelijke figuren. Zij kenmerken zich door een zeker naturalisme, zichtbaar in de amandelvormige hoofden, de in bas- reliëf vormgegeven gezichtskenmerken, de armen die bij de ellebogen zijn gebogen, de handen tegen elkaar op de borst, de gespreide benen en de voeten met platte zolen. |

Se refiere a un estilo de figuras de mármol producidas en el archipiélago de las Cíclades durante el período Cicládico Temprano pero específicamente durante el período entre aproximadamente 3500 y 3000 y 2800 ó 2600 a.C. Denominado por el sitio de su descubrimiento en la isla de Paros, las figuras incluyen representaciones de figuras masculinas y femeninas. Ellas se caracterizan por un sentido de naturalismo representado en sus cabezas almendradas, rasgos faciales representados en bajo relieve, brazos doblados en los codos, manos que se encuentran en el pecho, piernas colocadas separadamente y pies de suela lisa. |
