Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de Griekse stijl in de beeldhouwkunst die door Phidias werd gemaakt tijdens de tweede helft van de 5de eeuw v. Chr. De stijl is gebruikt voor het beeldhouwwerk van het Parthenon en kenmerkt zich door naturalisme, monumentaliteit en een ingetogen grootsheid die tot uiting komt in eenvoudige houdingen en gebaren die blijk geven van een meesterlijke kennis van de menselijke anatomie. |
