Note: A style of architecture associated with the Deccan region of India, begun in the eleventh century. The word literally means "mule" or "hybrid" and is therefore an apt description of the mixed architectural forms found in the Deccan. The style incorporated the vertical divisions and projecting offsets of the nagara style while retaining the general structure of the dravida style. The term may sometimes refer specifically to a style of apsidal temple.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指發展於西元十一世紀,並與印度德干地區相關的建築風格。「維沙拉」(Vesara)字面上的意思是「騾」或「混種」,相當切合於德干地區發展的混合建築形式。此風格融合了那迦羅風格的垂直結構與突出的支道,並保有達羅毗荼風格的一般結構。這個詞彙有時亦可用指覆斗式寺廟(apsidal temple)的風格。  
Dutch ..... Architectuurstijl die in de 11de eeuw ontstond en die in verband wordt gebracht met de Deccan-regio in India. De letterlijke betekenis van het woord is 'muilezel' of 'hybride', een treffende omschrijving van de heterogene architectuurvormen die in de Deccan worden aangetroffen. In de stijl werden de verticale geleding en uitspringende hoeken van de nagarastijl opgenomen, maar de algehele structuur van de Dravidische stijl bleef behouden. De term kan soms in specifieke zin verwijzen naar een stijl van een apsistempel. 
Spanish ..... Un estilo de arquitectura asociado con la región de Deccan de India, que comenzó en el siglo XI. La palabra literalmente significa "mula" o "híbrido" y es por consiguiente una apropiada descripción de las formas arquitectónicas mixtas encontradas en el Deccan. El estilo incorporó las divisiones verticales y los salientes proyectantes del estilo nagara mientras que mantuvo la estructura general del estilo dravida. El término a veces puede referirse específicamente a un estilo de templo absidal.
