Note: Refers to the style of ceramics produced at sites in or near present-day Nogata and Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, from 1601 to almost the end of the Edo period (1600-1868). The style is characterized by the production of everyday utensils and tea ceremony ware. Early wares are characterized by thick-walled everyday ware with sea slug glazes or opaque white-straw or wood-ash glazes. During the Enshu period (1630-1665), productions focused on elegant, thin-walled tea ceremony ware with a characteristic toffee-brown glaze.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指西元1601年至江戶時代末(西元1600年至1868年),現今福岡縣直方市與福岡市附近遺址所產的陶瓷風格,應用於製作日常器皿與茶道器皿,早期主要為厚壁的日用器皿,上有海蛞蝓釉或不透明白稻草或木灰釉。遠州時代(西元1630年至1665年)的製品著重典雅的薄壁茶道器皿,太妃棕釉色為其特色。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van keramiek die werd vervaardigd op locaties in of nabij het hedendaagse Nogata en Fukuoka, in de prefectuur Fukuoka, van 1601 tot bijna aan het einde van de Edo-periode (1600-1868). De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door de vervaardiging van alledaagse voorwerpen en servieswerk voor theeceremonies. Vroege objecten zijn onder meer dikwandig alledaags aardewerk met een zeekomkommerkleurige glazuurlaag of opaak glazuur met wit stro of houtas. Tijdens de Enshu-periode (1630-1665) werd voornamelijk elegant, dunwandig aardewerk voor theeceremonies gemaakt met een karakteristieke mokkabruine glazuurlaag. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo de la cerámica producido en los lugares cerca a Nogata actual y a Fukuoka, prefectura de Fukuoka, a partir de 1601 al final del período del Edo (1600-1868). El estilo es caracterizado por la producción de utensilios y de mercancías diarias de la ceremonia del té. Durante el período de Enshu (1630-1665), las producciones se centraron en los artefactos elegantes, de paredes delgadas de la ceremonia del té con un esmalte caramelo-marrón característico.
