Note: Wood of the species Heritiera javanica, native to West Africa, Thailand, and most notably the Philippines. The sapwood is pale yellowish-red with a light red to reddish-brown heartwood. It is used in the construction of cabinets, flooring, doors, boat ribs, and planking. |

Dutch ..... Hout van de soort Heritiera javanica, afkomstig uit West-Afrika, Thailand, en vooral de Filippijnen. Het spinthout is bleek geelachtig-rood met een licht rood tot roodbruin kernhout. Het wordt gebruikt bij de bouw van kasten, vloeren, deuren, bootribben en planken. |
Spanish ..... Madera de los árboles pertenecientes a la especie Heritiera javanica, nativos de África occidental, Tailandia y principalmente Filipinas. El albumen es rojo amarillento pálido, con un duramen marrón rojizo. Se utiliza en la fabricación de ebanistería, pisos, puertas, largueros de botes y planchas. |
