Note: Mechanized devices, typically comprising a yarn creel, a yarn guidance system, and a sizing delivery system, designed to apply a sizing agent to warp yarn in order to add strength/stiffness and reduce absorbency of the textile material. To facilitate the sizing process, yarn is wound on section beams and fed through the device's sizing delivery system, comprising a size box containing the sizing agent. After soaking in the agent and passing through the device's squeeze rolls, which rid the yarn of execess chemicals, the yarn is dried in the device's drying cans using hot air.
