Wordt vaak gebruikt voor kleine objecten, zoals het kernstuk van een juweel of sieraad. Gebruik, alhoewel de termen kunnen overlappen, 'pietra dura' voor het proces waarmee grotere werken zoals tafelbladen worden gemaakt van uitgesneden stenen. |
