Note: Stolzite is a lead tungstate, a rare secondary mineral that is nearly identical in chemical composition to wulfenite with which it is often associated in the oxidized zones of tungsten-bearing lead deposits. It is named for Joseph Alexander Stolz of Bohemia who first identified it. |

Dutch ..... Stolziet is een loodwolframaat, een zeldzaam secundair mineraal dat qua chemische samenstelling bijna identiek is aan wulfeniet, waaraan het vaak gekoppeld is in de geoxideerde zones van wolfraamhoudende loodafzettingen. Het is genoemd naar Joseph Alexander Stolz uit Bohemen, die het als eerste heeft gevonden. |
