Dutch ..... Glasgroen ijzersilicaatmineraal, lid van de olivijngroep, genoemd naar de typelokaliteit: het eiland Fayal, een van de Azoren. De brosse steen werd ook synthetisch geproduceerd als onderdeel van slak, dat gescheiden werd bij het uitsmelten in oude ijzerbewerkingsovens. |
