Note: A natural fine-grained, greenish-blue corrosion product associated with cuprite and atacamite observed on ancient Egyptian bronzes. The formation of chalconatronite seems to have been due to the presence of hydrated sodium carbonates in the arid soils of certain parts of Egypt. |

Dutch ..... Een natuurlijk, fijnkorrelig groenachtig blauw corrosieproduct dat voorkomt bij cupriet en atacamiet op oude Egyptische bronzen. Chalconatroniet is blijkbaar ontstaan door de aanwezigheid van gehydrateerde natriumcarbonaten in de droge bodem van bepaalde delen van Egypte. |
