Record Type: concept
hydroxypropyl cellulose (cellulose ether, cellulosic, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: Hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) is a water-soluble cellulose ether used as an emulsifier, thickener, and suspending agent in many types of solutions. In conservation, HPC is used as a consolidant for leather afflicted by "red rot", and as a fixative for pigments and dyes.

Terms:
hydroxypropyl cellulose (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,U)
HPC (plastic) (C,U,A,English,UF,U,U)
hydroxypropylcellulose (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
hydroxypropylcellulose (Dutch-P,D,U,U)

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
