Note: Refers to the pottery style found in the Konya plain of Anatolia around 5000 BCE, named after the site of Çatal Hüyük West. The style is characterized by vessels, most commonly jars, simple bowls, and cups, decorated with red painted linear designs on a buff or red ground that are sometimes burnished. |

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de aardewerkstijl die voorkwam in de Konya vlakte van Anatolië rond 5.000 v. Chr. Deze is genoemd naar de archeologische vindplaats Catal Hüyük West. De stijl kenmerkt zich door potten, simpele kommen, en bekers, versierd met rode geschilderde, lineaire ontwerpen op een bruingele of rode ondergrond, die soms werden gepolijst. |
Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo de cerámica encontrado en la llanura de Konia en Anatolia alrededor del 500 a.C y que lleva el nombre del sitio de Catal Hüyük Occidental. El estilo se caracteriza por vasijas, más comúnmente jarras, cuencos simples y copas, decorados con diseños lineares en pintura roja sobre una base crema o roja que algunas veces está pulida. |
