Note: Use generally for spears having a very sharply pointed steel head, somtimes with a hook or pick on the side. Use particularly for the very long type, from 16 to 22 feet in length, having a small leaf- or lozenge-shaped head, used by infantry as a defense against cavalry from the late 15th to the mid-17th century.

Spanish ..... Úsese generalmente para lanzas que tienen una cabeza de acero muy puntiaguda y afilada, a veces con un gancho o uñeta al lado.
