| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode en stijl in de kunst, met name de beeldhouwkunst, die samenviel met de periode van de Tetrarchie tijdens de tweede helft van de 3de eeuw. De stijl kenmerkt zich doordat veel werken in porfier werden uitgevoerd en door het bijna volledig verdwijnen van fysieke gelijkenis en anatomische bouw. De expressieve functie van de ogen werd daarentegen benadrukt. |
