Note: Refers to a style of ancient Greek vase painting that was transitional between the Black-figure style and the Red-figure style. Characteristics include that some figures were painted in Black-figure style and others, often the female figures, were outlined, using the brush rather than engraving to delineate the forms. Around 530 BC some painters eliminated the black-figure technique from their work entirely, they outlined all figures, but they then painted the background black, thus moving to the Red-figure style.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱一種古希臘的花瓶彩繪風格，是介於黑繪式風格與紅繪式風格之間的過渡風格。其特徵包括了以黑繪式技法所繪製的一些人像，多為勾勒出輪廓的女性人像，以畫筆而非雕刻的方式加以描繪形狀而成。大約在西元前530年間，部分畫家完全摒棄使用將黑繪式技法作畫，他們把所有的人像以勾勒輪廓的方式繪製，但是他們接著就以黑色塗滿背景，而因此就發展至紅繪式風格。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van Oudgriekse vaasschilderkunst die de overgang vormde tussen de stijl met de zwarte en de stijl met de rode figuren. Een van de kenmerken is dat sommige figuren werden geschilderd in de stijl van de zwarte figuren en andere, vaak de vrouwelijke, geen gegraveerde contouren hadden maar waren omlijnd met een kwast. Rond 530 v. Chr. banden enkele schilders de stijl van de zwarte figuren volledig uit en omlijnden alle figuren. Maar vervolgens schilderden zij de achtergrond zwart, waardoor de overgang naar de stijl van de rode figuren werd bewerkstelligd. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a un antiguo estilo griego de pintura en vaso que fue de transición entre el estilo de figura negra y el estilo de figura roja. Las características incluyen que algunas figuras fueron pintadas en estilo de figura negra y otros, a menudo las figuras fueron perfiladas usando el pincel en lugar del grabado para delinear las formas. Alrededor del 530 d.C. algunos pintores eliminaron la técnica de la figura negra completamente de su trabajo, ellos perfilaron todas las figuras, pero luego pintaron el fondo negro moviéndose de esta manera al estilo de la figura roja. |
