Note: Refers to a style of Attic vase painting that appeared in its early form around 475 BCE and ended around 420 BCE, following the flourishing of the Attic Black-figure style. It is characterized by work in Red-figure technique, and later by painting on white ground. It was known initially by a new looseness and freedom in composition, and later by the influence of contemporary sculptural work that was taking place on the Parthenon. It typically includes ambitious compositions on large vases, and, in earlier forms, uses Archaic conventions side-by-side with innovative, free renderings.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱一種阿提卡風格的花瓶彩繪風格,此風格於西元前475年左右出現了早期形式,接續阿提卡風格的黑繪式風格後出現,並結束於西元前420年前後。此風格的特徵是採紅彩技巧的創作,以及後來在白色背景上進行彩繪的手法。此風格原先是以鬆散與自由的嶄新構圖而為人所知,之後則是以其對當代雕塑作品的影響而聞名,特別可見於巴特農神殿(Parthenon)。此種風格典型而言包含了大型花瓶上面費力耗時的構圖,以及在諸多早期的形式當中,傳統古式風格技法與創新、自由的表現方式並用之創作手法。  
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een Attische vaasschilderstijl waarvan de vroegste vorm rond 475 v Chr. ontstond en die rond 420 v Chr. verdween, na de bloeiperiode van de Attische zwartfigurige stijl. De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door werk volgens de roodfigurige techniek, later door schildering op een witte achtergrond. De stijl stond oorspronkelijk bekend om een nieuwe mate van losheid en vrijheid in de compositie, en later om de invloed van het gelijktijdig uitgevoerde beeldhouwwerk aan het Parthenon. Het werk bestaat meestal uit ambitieuze composities op grote vazen en maakt, in de vroegere vormen, gebruik van Archaïsche conventies gecombineerd met vernieuwende vrije voorstellingen. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo de pintura en vaso ático que aparece en su forma temprana alrededor del 475 a.C y termina alrededor del 420 a.C y que sigue al florecimiento del estilo de figura negra Ático. Se caracteriza por el trabajo en la técnica de la figura roja y después por la pintura en tierra blanca. Fue inicialmente conocido por una nueva soltura y libertad en composición y posteriormente por la influencia de trabajo escultural contemporáneo que estaba teniendo lugar en el Partenon. Típicamente incluye composiciones ambiciosas en vasos grandes y, en formas más tempranas, usa convenciones Arcaicas paralelamente con interpretaciones innovadoras y libres.
