Dutch ..... Een brecciëmarmer dat rode, roze, witte of gele fragmenten bevat in een koraalrode matrix; dit marmer werd vaak gebruikt voor de binnenste zuilen van de Tempel van Mars Ultor in Rome. Er zijn echter maar weinig andere voorbeelden bekend en de oorspronkelijke vindplaats ervan is niet geïdentificeerd. |
Spanish ..... Mármol breccia que contiene fragmentos rojos, rosados, blancos o amarillos en una matriz de color coral. Se utilizó en particular para las columnas interiores del Templo de Marte Ultor en Roma, aunque se conocen algunos pocos ejemplos más. Su antigua cantera no ha sido localizada.
