The Little Miss Ann Band plays upbeat, interactive songs that inspire kids to sing, jump, and dance. Ann Torralba, aka Little Miss Ann, is a Chicago-based, Filipina-American, nationally-touring kids musician who has made seven award-winning family music albums. She is also a former Chicago Public School teacher, an instructor at Chicago's iconic Old Town School of Folk Music, and a social justice activist. The Little Miss Ann Band has performed at many esteemed venues including Wolf Trap, Lollapalooza KidsStage, SXSW, and more! Her song "Ube" is about a Filipino purple yam, and one of the first representations of Filipino culture on many radio programs and playlists. Little Miss Ann's musical themes inspire kids to let their own light shine in their families and communities!
