Concluding the Getty Scholar Year Symposium: Art and Ecology, this moderated discussion between artist Ursula Schulz-Dornburg and Getty artist-in-residence Tavares Strachan explores ecological themes within their art practices.

Ursula Schulz-Dornburg is a photographer living and working in Düsseldorf whose work studies the relationship between society and the natural landscape.

Tavares Strachan is a conceptual artist living and working in New York whose open-ended practice examines the intersection of art, science, and the environment.
