WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

PeopleSoft Financials Upgrade

PeopleSoft gets a new homepage look on April 16, with helpful homepage tiles to access some key tools, plus a new Navigator menu. This updated navigation is the same as the new look rolled out last fall in Employee Self Service. Not to worry—your steps to create expenses and requisitions and run reports have not changed. And a bonus—this version works well on smartphones and tablets. Take a look at what’s new with PeopleSoft.

Library Curbside Service

The next Getty Library Curbside Service is April 20–22. Beginning today, April 12, you can make an appointment in Reservio, our self-scheduling reservation system, to pick up items that you requested from March 11–April 14, 2021, or to return items that you have at home. Instructions for making an appointment are in the Getty Library Curbside Service appointment information and Reservio instructions document, attached. Please note #4 and #5 in the “appointment information” section of the document have been updated. Curbside service dates and related information are also listed on the Getty Library at Home guide’s Circulation Curbside Service page.

Matching Gifts for AAPI Organizations

In light of the rise in hate crimes and harassment against AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) individuals and communities, we are adding more AAPI-led and AAPI-serving nonprofits to the list of suggested organizations eligible to receive donations through the Getty Matching Gifts program. We thank the DEAI Council for sharing this idea in response to staff suggestions. See the attached PDF for a list of organizations, and the full, updated list will be available later this week on GO. Please note the suggested organizations list is not meant to be exhaustive, and staff are encouraged to research other eligible organizations as outlined in the program policy. The Foundation’s Grants Administration division is happy to answer questions about the program anytime and can be reached at GettyMatchingGifts@getty.edu.

Changes and Reminders about Time Card Coding

As you know, there was a change in the supplemental sick pay for COVID (SCP). Also, we want to remind everyone about when it’s appropriate to use OHP (other hours paid) on their timecards. The attached is updated to reflect the change and explains what to do in certain circumstances regarding work hours and time cards.
