For the Season One finale of Becoming Artsy, Jessie interviews Marcia Reed, chief curator at the Getty Research Institute, about her exhibition Fluxus Means Change.

Fluxus was a group of artists started by George Maciunas in the 1960s and included artists Yoko Ono, Benjamin Patterson, and many others. The Fluxus Means Change exhibition highlights the avant-garde art collection of Jean Brown, an artist, collector, researcher, and pillar of the Fluxus community.

From tackle boxes to object boxes, eccentric lighting displays to spinning clocks and wooden airplanes, Fluxus Means Change challenges notions of “traditional” art.`
