unaulutu is one of the most unique books in the Getty Library’s collection.

It has six-foot-long pages, fish drawings that crinkle like water, and the Getty’s copy is one of only 100 made.

unaulutu rarely leaves the archives. But today, curators Isotta Poggi and Ava Hoeller-Lacerda invite you to watch a special ASMR unboxing:

In addition to its tactile dimensions, unaulutu depicts special moments of cultural encounters in beautiful, colorful prints.

Want to discover more about unaulutu and virtually leaf through its pages? Read more about this work of art that transcends space and time and the possibility of what a book can be.
