Delilah Brumer (she/her)

Selected Photographs

Delilah Brumer participated in the Getty Unshuttered program while a senior at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. With more than four years of photojournalism experience, she is excited to experiment with artistic forms of photography. Through her photography, Brumer explores the intricacies of life in Los Angeles, specifically for young people. While in high school, she taught first-years and sophomores the basics of composition and helped them discover their creative voices, all while learning to find her own. Brumer served as the editor-in-chief of her school newspaper and was the 2023 California High School Journalist of the Year. She is also a freelance reporter at the Los Angeles Daily News, a student board member at the Los Angeles Times High School Insider, and a student producer at PBS Newshour Student Reporting Labs. She currently studies journalism at Northwestern University.
