Note: Church that was once the national church of the Spanish community in Rome, located on the Piazza Navona. The church was the site of numerous events related to Spain, including celebrations of victories, and the funeral rites for Philip V in 1746. First constructed in 1458, numerous additions and renovations were made over the centuries, including a remodeling begun in 1525. A related hospital and hospice was adjacent to the church for many years.
