Music of Byzantium: The Fall of Constantinople
Vocal chamber ensemble Cappella Romana performs 14th- and 15th-century Byzantine chants in a virtuosic program that explores the coexistence and conflict between Greek and western cultures in the eastern Mediterranean during the twilight years of Byzantium.
