Canu, Jean Dominique Etienne (French engraver, 1768-after 1816)
|
Note: The French Museum of Natural History charged him with engraving, after Redouté, a large work on the fish and plants of Egypt. He illustrated the life of Duperray; and did plates for "Flora," by Jaume de Saint-Hilaire. In 1816 he published a suite of 84 plates representing the costumes of the French army after 1792. |
