Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Euraziatische tuin- en veldvogel; verzamelt zich in de herfst in grote zwermen om te migreren naar Noord-Afrika en het Midden-Oosten. De gewone naam van de vogel komt uit het Frans en is afgeleid van het Latijnse 'hortulanus', wat zoveel betekent als 'tuiniersvogel'.
