Note: Refers to the period surrounding the ancient city of Ayudhya that existed from the mid-14th to the 18th century. In sculpture, the period mostly features images of Buddha cast in bronze, stone, or stucco. In the early 14th century, a refinement of sculptural styles culminated in the eThong style characterized by several sub-types of Buddha images. One type features the Buddha figure with a prominent forehead, almond eyes, straight lowered eyelids, and conical curls on the head. A second type displays stronger Khmer influences apparent in the square face and austere expression. The third type of Buddha sculptural style manifests an elongated body and a smiling expression. In architecture, the period features temple-sanctuary complexes known as wat, the more prominent ones being Wat Thanmikarat, featuring a staircase decorated with stucco lions and a bai sema or boundary stone made of slate; Wat Phutthaisawan, featuring Khmer-influenced galleries, stupas with redans, and wall paintings; Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, featuring elaborate stupas and wihans and rectangular galleries; and Wat Phra Ram, featuring a square plan, brick construction, and artificial pools. Ceramic styles also mature in this period, featuring brilliant colors of jade green, light grass green, blue-green, brown, pale honey, and white.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指與發展於西元十四世紀中至十八世紀中的古老大城市（city of Ayudhya）相關的時代。雕刻方面，此時代最著名的特色是青銅、石頭或灰泥雕製的佛像。西元十四世紀早期，雕刻風格變得更為細緻，產生了育東（U Thong）風格，其中又以幾種次型態的佛像最具特色。其中一個型態的特色是凸額杏眼、直而下垂的眼皮、圓錐形捲髮。第二種型態受到更多高棉風格的影響，展現於方臉、嚴峻表情等特色。第三種型態的佛像風格展現於修長的身軀以及微笑的表情。建築方面，此時代的特色展現於稱之為「寺」（wat）的泰式寺廟聖殿建築， 其中以塔米卡拉特寺（Wat Thanmikarat）最有名，塔米卡拉特寺的特色展現於裝飾著灰泥獅的梯階以及頁岩製成的界碑（bai sema）；普太沙旺寺（Wat Phutthaisawan）則以受到高棉風格影響的走廊、有凸角堡的舍利塔與壁畫最具特色；另外還有以長形舍利塔、威罕、矩形走廊做為代表的亞查曼訶霍寺（Wat Yai Chaimongkhol）；至於帕蘭寺（Wat Phra Ram）則以方形平面結構、磚造結構、人造池為特點。陶瓷風格亦於此時代趨於成熟，其特色展現於燦爛的色彩，例如：翠玉色、亮草綠、青綠、棕色、淡蜜色、白色等。

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode rondom de oude stad Ayutthaya die duurde van het midden van de 14de eeuw tot de 18de eeuw. In de beeldhouwkunst wordt deze periode vooral gekenmerkt door afbeeldingen van Boeddha die zijn gegoten in brons, of die zijn gemaakt van steen of stucwerk. In de vroege 14de eeuw culmineerde een verfijning van beeldhouwkundige stijlen in de eThong-stijl die werd gekarakteriseerd door verschillende subtypen van Boeddhabeelden. Eén type wordt gekenmerkt door de Boeddhafiguur met een prominent voorhoofd, amandelvormige ogen, rechte, bijna gesloten oogleden en conische krullen op het hoofd. Een tweede type toont sterkere Khmer-invloeden die zichtbaar zijn in het vierkante gezicht en de strenge gelaatsuitdrukking. Het derde type Boeddha-beeldhouwstijl wordt gekenmerkt door een uitgerekt lichaam en een glimlachende gelaatsuitdrukking. In de architectuur wordt deze periode gekenmerkt door tempel-sancturariumcomplexen die bekend zijn onder de naam ‘wat’. De belangrijkste zijn: Wat Thanmikarat, welke een trap bevat die is versierd met leeuwen van stucwerk en een bai sema of grenssteen gemaakt van leisteen; Wat Phutthaisawan, met door de Khmer-stijl beïnvloede galerijen, stoepa's met redans en muurschilderingen; Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, met complexe stoepa's en wihans en rechthoekige galerijen; en Wat Phra Ram, met een vierkant grondplan, een constructie van baksteen en kunstmatige bassins. Keramiekstijlen komen in deze periode ook tot volledige ontwikkeling en worden gekenmerkt door heldere kleuren: jadegroen, licht grasgroen, blauwgroen, bruin, honingbruin en wit. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al período alrededor de la ciudad antigua de Ayuthia que existió desde mediados del siglo XIV al siglo XVIII. En escultura, el período ofrece principalmente imágenes de Buda fundidas en bronce, piedra o estuco. A principios del siglo XIV, un refinamiento de estilos esculturales culminó en el estilo Thong caracterizado por varios subtipos de imágenes de Buda. Un tipo de figura de Buda presenta una frente prominente, ojos de almendra, párpados rectos bajos y rizos cónicos en la cabeza. Un segundo tipo exhibe una influencia Khmer más fuerte apreciable en la cara cuadrada y la expresión austera. El tercer tipo de estilo de escultura de Buddha muestra un cuerpo alargado y una expresión sonriente. En arquitectura, el período se caracteriza por complejos de templo-santuario conocidos como wat, siendo el más importante el Wat Thanmikarat, que presena una escalera decorada con leones de estuco y una bai sema o piedra del límite hecha de teja; Wat Phutthaisawan, ofrece galerías de influencia Khmer, stupas con redans y pinturas murales; Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, ofrece detalladas stupas y wihans y galerías rectangulares; y Wat Phra Carnero, presenta un plan cuadrado, construcción de ladrillo y piscinas artificiales. Los estilos cerámicos también maduran en este período ofreciendo colores brillantes de verde jade, verde hierba luminoso, azul-verde, café, miel pálida y blanco. |
