Note: Type of porcelain material comprising white china clay, or "kaolin," and "petuntse," which is a naturally fusible feldspathic rock. It is "hard fired" at the relatively high temperature of around 1450 degrees centigrade. It was developed first in China and produced in Europe after 1700.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een porseleinsoort die is gemaakt van witte porseleinaarde, of 'kaolien' en 'petuntse', een natuurlijk smeltbaar veldspaathoudend gesteente. Het wordt 'hardgebakken' op een relatief hoge temperatuur van ongeveer 1450 graden Celsius. Het werd voor het eerst gemaakt in China en na 1700 in Europa geproduceerd. |
